Strikers Announce Summer Business Bash and Walk Like a Striker

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (June 19, 2012) - The Fort Lauderdale Strikers have made a unique game day experience available to the general public. The "Walk Like a Striker" event will give children the opportunity to exit the tunnel with the Strikers starting lineup on June 30 at Lockhart Stadium. Additionally, the "Strikers Summer Business Bash" will take place on Saturday, July 14 and will feature a ticket special, tailgate reception and contest for participants to win the use of a suite at Lockhart Stadium for a future game this regular season.
June 30 vs Carolina RailHawks
When the Strikers play the Carolina RailHawks on June 30, any family with a child under 12 years old can "Walk Like a Striker." By purchasing four tickets for the game, a family can nominate one child under 12 for the opportunity to walk with the Strikers players and stand with them for the national anthem.
Usually, this is a privilege given to youth soccer clubs, but the Strikers have reserved this experience for the general public on June 30. In addition to this great opportunity, each child will also be given a Strikers t-shirt.
July 14 vs San Antonio Scorpions
At the July 14 home game against the San Antonio Scorpions, the Strikers will be hosting a "Summer Business Bash." Strikers' business partners will be invited to attend a catered event prior to the Strikers game against Carolina. The Strikers' food truck partners, including Che Grill and B.C. Tacos, will be providing food for the event as well.
The Standard Business Bash Package is $250 and includes 20 Reserved Seating Tickets, 20 $5.00 Food Truck Vouchers, a 10 second in-game PA Announcement, Scoreboard recognition, and one Official Strikers Autographed Jersey for the office.
The Premium Business Bash Package is $400 and includes the Standard Package plus Promotional Booth (10x10 space inside Lockhart Stadium. Company to provide tent, table and chairs.)
Each company purchasing a package is eligible to win the use of an open-air suite (25 guests) for a future Strikers home game during the 2012 season.
The special is also available for individual game tickets. A single game general admission ticket and a $5.00 food truck voucher is $12.00. A single game reserved ticket and a $5.00 food truck voucher is $18.00.
