
Streaking Parrots Back in ACHL Playoff Hunt

With only two weeks left in the ACHL regular season, the Winston-Salem Parrots find themselves still in the thick of the playoff hunt. The Parrots, winners of three in a row, are back in fourth place in the ACHL, five points behind third place Macon, and two points ahead of fifth place Fayetteville.
After losing in Knoxville on Tuesday night (4-2), the Parrots reeled off three straight wins over the weekend. Friday night, the Parrots defeated Knoxville in the return match 3-1. On Saturday night, they defeated Macon 3-2 in a shootout. And on Sunday afternoon, the Parrots travelled to Fayetteville where they defeated the Fire Antz 5-4.
Parrots Transactions:
The Parrots saw their goaltending situation strengthen with the return of Dan McIntyre. McIntyre, along with Dean Weasler, shared the twine-tending duties during the Parrots three game winning streak.

John Gurskis leads the Parrots in scoring with 13 goals & 37 assists for 50 points.
Matt Holmes leads the team in goals scored with 22. Holmes also leads the ACHL in short handed goals (6) and is second in the ACHL in game winning goals (6).
Mike Fournier has the most penalty minutes with 196.
