Streak Continues, Jacks Top Rays in Shootout

(Odessa, TX) - Dan McWhinney hit the splits and turned away Mark Tobin in the final round of a shootout to give Odessa a 4-3 win over Corpus Christ on Sunday at the Ector County Coliseum. The Jacks have won 11 straight games to tie the franchise record.

Dominic Leveille scored the only goal of the shootout in the first round, and was credited the game-winner. Mark Tobin tied the game at 3-3 for Corpus Christi :43 into the third period.

The Jacks carried a 3-2 lead into the third period after Sebastien Thinel and Brian Swiniarksi each scored for Odessa. Dan McWhinney finished the game with 26 saves, and was named the number one star of the game.
