
Storm Travel Teams to Host Open Tryouts

LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. - The Lake Elsinore Storm will be holding open tryouts for their Youth Tournament teams between January 31 and February 3, 2011.
Tryouts for the Storm Elite teams will be held at the Diamond in Lake Elsinore each day from 4-8PM. The 10 and under team will have tryouts Monday, January 31, and Wednesday, February 2 from 4-6 PM with the 11 and 12 year olds trying out those same days from 6-8. On Tuesday and Thursday, the 13 and 14 year olds will try out from 4-6 with the 15 and 16 year olds at 6-8 PM.
"We're excited about the opportunity to help these kids improve their baseball skills," says Vice President and General Manager of the Storm, Chris Jones. "I would like to encourage all young players to come and tryout to be a part of this great opportunity." Storm Elite is a four-month program that allows the players to practice four hours a week and compete in three tournaments over the span of the session.
