Storm Training Camp Kicks off Thursday, February 20

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Storm opens training camp Thursday, February 20 at Skyway Park (3901 George Road, Tampa) in preparation for the 2014 Arena Football League season, announced the team.
"The organization has been hard at work preparing for the upcoming season," said head coach Lawrence Samuels. "Last season we were able to build a foundation for success. We are anxious to get back to work with the players and believe we will be able to take our team to the next level."
Players report on Wednesday, February 19 for physicals and meetings at Florida Hospital (2600 Bruce B Downs Blvd., Wesley Chapel, FL 33544), with the first practice starting at 8:15 AM the following day, Thursday, February 20 at Skyway Park. The first two days (Thursday and Friday) will be non-contact with Saturday, February 22 the first day players will wear pads.
The training camp roster consists of 35 players, plus invitees, who will compete for 24 spots on the opening roster. Final rosters must be turned into the League office by 5:00 PM CT on Friday, March 7.
All but one day of training camp will take place at Skyway Park. On Sunday, March 2, the team will head to Jacksonville for a pre-season contest against South Division rival, Jacksonville Sharks.
