
Storm to host open tryouts November 4

TAMPA BAY - The five-time world champion Tampa Bay Storm will host open tryouts for the 2007 AFL Season at 8:30am on Saturday November 4, 2006 at Tradewinds Park in South Florida.
This one-day tryout is open to all interested players. All players will receive a legitimate chance at signing a professional contract with the Storm. In 2006, two players from this camp Alphonso Roundtree and Lionel Green were invited to training camp. In addition, the camp will be scouted by Af2 teams and coaches from other indoor leagues.
The camp will be directed by Dave Ewart, Storm Director of Player Personnel. Registration will take place at 8:30 a.m. the day of the tryout and the fee is $60 (cash only). Players need to bring workout clothes and grass cleats.
Tradewinds Park is located at 3600 W. Sample Rd., Coconut Creek FL (954) 968-3880. From I-95 take the Sample Road exit, exit # 36, then head west three miles to park entrance.
