"All three of these young men have great potential," said Marcum. "Tisdale showed us enough at the end of last season to make us think he can make an impact for us on defense. Hand and Scott add depth to our offensive and defensive lines and should each come in and compete for a starting position."

Hand, 6-foot-6, 325 pounds, is a product of the University of Florida where he played in 46 games from 2002-2006. He earned AP and Coaches Second Team All-SEC honors in 2005 and was named SEC Lineman of the Week after his performance against Florida State in 2005. The Ft. Meyers native and former Estero High standout signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent prior joining the Buffalo Bills practice squad for the 2006 season.

He also registered 11 tackles, three pass breakups and one blocked kick. Scott attended Texas Tech where he played in 47 games from 2003-2006 and accumulated 108 tackles, 8.5 tackles for a loss, 3.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. He was an honorable mention All-Big 12 selection in 2005.

Tisdale, 5-9, 190-pounds, returns for the 2008 season after spending the final two weeks of the 2007 AFL season on the Storm practice squad. A native of Clearwater, Florida, he prepped at Dunedin High School in Pinellas County before finishing his college career at the University of Texas-El Paso. Tisdale finished his senior season at UTEP with 60 tackles, seven pass breakups and two interceptions. After his senior year he played in The First Annual All-American Challenge: Texas vs. The Nation Collegiate All-Star Bowl.

The Tampa Bay Storm look forward to the 2008 season as many key players from 2007 will return.
