The Sioux Falls Storm of United Indoor Football (UIF) is pleased to announce the signing of former South Dakota State University (SDSU) standouts DJ Fischer and Chris Molitor as well as former University of Sioux Falls (USF) All-American Vinnie Olson.

Fischer, a four-time letter winner for the Jackrabbits, recorded 15 tackles and 1 sack from his defensive line position in 2005. The Gettysburg, SD native, who missed 3 games due to injury in 2005, was named honorable mention All-Great Western Football Conference (GWFC) in 2004. The 6'3 285 lb Fischer finished 2004 with 51 tackles and 3.5 sacks. In his career at SDSU, Fischer finished with 95 tackles and 5.5 sacks.

Molitor, another four-time letter winner at SDSU who played wide receiver, finished second on the team in receptions in 2005 with 24. Molitor, who stands at 6'0 and 190 lb, tallied 316 yards receiving and 4 touchdowns during the 2005 campaign. The Lakeville, MN native finished his career with 64 receptions and 9TD's.

Offensive lineman, Vinnie Olson finished his playing career at USF in 2004. The Pierre, SD native led USF to an undefeated regular season in 2004 and was named to the NAIA Division II All-American First Team. Olson was also named to the American Football Coaches' Association All-American Team, which combines NAIA and NCAA Division II. The 6'5 330 lb. Olson started his collegiate career at the University of South Dakota before transferring to USF after his sophomore year. During Olson's two years at USF, the Cougars went 23-2.

"Our team has come together. Both DJ and Chris come from a great program at SDSU and we're excited to keep that relationship with SDSU players. Vinnie is not only a huge physical presence, but his character as a person will fit right in with our Storm family," says General Manager, Colin Steen.

Player camp opens this Friday, March 10 with only 2 weeks of preparation before the first game of the season when the Storm visits the Beef in Omaha, Nebraska on Friday, March 24. The home opener for the Storm will be Saturday, April 8 for a "Championship Re-Match" as the Sioux City Bandits enter the Sioux Falls Arena.
