TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Storm have signed offensive lineman Lincoln Kennedy, announced Head Coach and General Manager Tim Marcum.

"Lincoln is a great guy with a proven track record," said Marcum. "We asked him if he would like to play this week and he said yes."

Kennedy (6-foot-7, 380 lbs., Washington) last played with the Storm during the 2007 season. He scored his first touchdown as a professional against the Philadelphia Soul that season when he recovered a missed field goal and returned it for a touchdown. An 11-year veteran of the NFL, Lincoln was the ninth player selected in the 1993 NFL draft as a first-round pick of the Atlanta Falcons and a three-time Pro Bowl selection from 2000-02.

In 1991, his junior season at the University of Washington, he helped guide the Huskies to a share of the National Championship. His senior season he was a unanimous first-team All-America pick and All Pac-10 first team selection as well as a finalist for the Outland and Lombardi Trophies.
