Anaheim Storm News Release
Anaheim, CA (March 1, 2005) - The Anaheim Storm (2-5) return to their home turf this Friday, March 4, to face division rivals, the Colorado Mammoth (4-3). The ball drops at 7:30 p.m. at the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim.
After seven games, the Storm are led in points by newcomers Shawn Cable (11g, 10a) and Ryan Powell (7g, 12a). Veterans Scott Stewart (9g, 9a) and Casey Powell (6g, 8a) also have high numbers for the Storm. Powell, along with defender Chris Seller, played in the 2005 All-Star Game last Saturday, February 26 in Calgary. Both Storm assistant captains had single assists.

Among his many accolades, Gait has been named first-team All-Pro every year since he started playing in 1991. He is also a six-time league MVP and set the single-season scoring record with 61 goals in 2003.
The Mammoth stomped San Jose 14-8 in front of a home crowd on Thursday, February 24. They are currently tied for first in the Western Division alongside the defending champion Calgary Roughnecks.
Friday is Storm t-shirt night sponsored by Shamrock Lacrosse. T-shirts will be distributed to the first 500 fans in attendance. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
