
Storm Join Padres for Winter Warm-Up

Lake Elsinore, CA, January 19, 2007 - The Lake Elsinore Storm and the San Diego Padres will team up for a promotional event on Monday, January 22 at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater. The festivities begin at 6:30 pm and will include video highlights, raffle prizes, and a question and answer period with Padres' players and staff. Among the players expected to attend are former Storm stars Clay Hensley, Paul McAnulty, and Tim Stauffer.
The Storm will be represented by team play-by-play voice, Sean McCall, who will emcee the program. The fun-loving Storm mascot, Thunder, will also be in attendance during this meet and greet with Padres players and coaches. Free Storm Opening Day tickets along with a VIP suite at The Diamond will be given away courtesy of the Storm.
This is the first night of the week-long Padres Winter Warm-Up schedule which will last through Sunday, January 28, ending with a two-day FriarFest at PETCO Park. Monday's event is free to the public and fans will be given an opportunity to obtain autographs following the presentation.
