Tampa Bay jumped out to an early lead in the fist quarter as the defense kept Los Angeles off of the scoreboard. The Storm defense recorded two interceptions and one defensive stop as the Avengers could not keep its offense on the field. Tampa Bay's special teams added two fumble recoveries and Kicker Seth Marler scored 12 points (one field goal and nine extra points) and made two touchdown saving tackles.
With starting fullback Torrance Marshall out with a neck injury, Phil Glover and Sedrick Robinson stepped in to fill the void with a combined 18 yards on nine rushes and four touchdowns. Glover collected three of the touchdowns as he tied a career high.
