Birch Run, MI (February 13, 2003)âIdaho Stampede's Brian Green and Michael Johnson double team the Storm with 22 points each as they rose in the last quarter to a 109-98 (5,2) victory. The Storm just couldn't keep up the momentum after they won the second and third quarter. Tyson Wheeler led the Storm with 21 points. James Head contributed 18 points and 10 rebounds.
In last minute transactions, Cory Hightower was placed on the Storm's active roster.
The Great Lakes Storm record is now 17-22. They will go on the road for a weekend series against the Gary Steelheads. Saturday's game, on February 15th will be televised on a national high-definition television broadcast at 8:00 p.m. EST. The Storm's next home game is Monday, February 17th when they take on the Grand Rapids Hoops. Tip-off is 7:05 P.M.
