
Storm cheerleaders promoting Storm season opener all day Friday

The Tampa Bay Storm Cheerleaders will be promoting the Storm's season opener throughout the day on Friday. The cheerleaders will begin the morning atop the Tampa Bay Storm billboard at 4320 Gandy Blvd (next to Wendy's) from 7:00 â 8:00 am. At noon the cheerleaders will be roaming the Franklin Street Mall area in downtown Tampa, and from 5:00-- 7:00 pm they will be on the Plaza of the St. Pete Times Forum promoting the game prior to the Professional Bull Riding event in the arena that night. The Storm cheerleaders will conclude the evening by visiting restaurants and bars at Channelside and in Ybor City Friday night. These appearances offer a great photo opportunity for newspapers and TV stations.
The defending ArenaBowl champion Tampa Bay Storm kickoff the 2004 season on Sunday afternoon when they host the Orlando Predators at 3:00 pm in the St. Pete Times Forum. The Storm will also raise their fifth championship banner during a pregame ceremony that begins at 2:45 pm.
