
Storm Adds Hampton To 2010 Training Camp Roster

SEATTLE, Wednesday, March 17, 2010 - Seattle Storm Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel Brian Agler announced today the addition of 6-3 forward Devanei Hampton to the 2010 training camp roster.
A Berkeley, CA native and former Cal Bears teammate of Storm forward Ashley Walker, Hampton, is currently playing for Utex Row Rybnik in Poland, averaging 13.2 points, 6.7 rebounds and one steal in 23 games.
In Cal career history, Hampton ranks fifth in rebounds (876), sixth in points scored (1588), fifth in field goals attempted (1325) and made free throws (331), sixth in made-field goals (625), and eighth in blocked shots (78). Hampton is also just the seventh player in Cal history to score 1,500 points in her career and is a member of the Pac-10 1,500 point and 750 rebound clubs.
The Seattle Storm will open its 2010 WNBA schedule on Sunday, May 16 in a 6 p.m. matchup versus the Sparks at KeyArena. The Storm will play on national television four times with all broadcasts airing on ESPN2. Highlighting the Storm's national television coverage is a KeyArena home game against defending WNBA Champion and league MVP Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 27.
