
Storm Add Two Defensive Lineman

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Storm has added two defensive lineman, Eugene Kinlaw and Jimmy Saddler-McQeeun to the roster announced Head Coach Dave Ewart. The Storm currently have 25 players on its roster, the team can bring a roster of 35 players to camp.
"We understand the importance of the defensive line in this game and Eugene and Jimmy are young talents," said Ewart. "We will continue to add talent to that position."
Kinlaw (6-foot-3, 285 lbs., Troy) will enter his rookie season in the Arena Football League with the Storm. He spent 2010 with the Calgary Stampede in the Canadian Football League until he suffered a knee injury and was released. Kinlaw played for Troy in 2009, his junior season, where he started 13 games at nose tackle and recorded 32 tackles, 8.5 for loss, three sacks, including a safety and recovered two fumbles. He spent his freshman and sophomore seasons at Hutchinson C.C. and totaled 88 tackles, 43 tackles for a loss, 13 sacks, five forced fumbles and two blocked kicks in 20 games over the two seasons. After his sophomore season he was named the National Junior College Athletic Association National Defensive Player of the Year and earned first-team Junior College All-America and Jayhawk All-Conference honors.
Saddler-McQueen (6-3, 295, Texas A&M-Kingsville) joins Jorge Guerra as the second Javelinas' player on the Storm. Recently waived by the Dallas Cowboys, Saddler-McQueen originally signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted rookie free-agent in April of 2010. Since then has spent time on the practice squads of the Cowboys and St. Louis Rams. A two-time All-Lone Star Conference performer and 2008 Co- LSC South Defensive Lineman of the Year, he finished his Javelina career with 154 tackles, 23 tackles for a loss, five sacks and 12 pass break-ups.
