Georgia Force News Release
Duluth, GA (November 3, 2011) - The Force are continually striving for new and inventive ways to allow fans to stay in touch with the team. They took another step along those lines on Thursday by announcing the official Georgia Force mobile apps, available to users of iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, and Android devices.
"The app experience makes so many of the ways fans traditionally interact with us just that much easier," said Force president Cory Howerton. "From reading the latest team news to buying tickets to even putting yourself in a Force helmet, our fans are going to love it."
The app is designed to bring the interactive Arena Football League experience to fans wherever they may be. Users can peruse the 2012 schedule, interact with the team through Twitter and Facebook, and learn about The Arena at Gwinnett Center's many amenities, among a host of other options. The News section will be updated frequently with word on offseason plans, and the Cheerleaders icon leads users to biographical on the AFL's most talented squad.
One of the more fun and unique aspects of the app is the Camera feature. Fans can add a Force helmet and eye black to a picture of themselves or a friend for a one-of-a-kind souvenir.
"It's an amazing amount of information fans will have available at the press of a button," said Howerton, "and best of all, it's free."
The app is available now in the Android Market and the App Store for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. More features will be added in the future as well.
