
Stephanie Morgan Named Executive Vice President

The United States Hockey League has announced that Stephanie Morgan has been named USHL Executive Vice President, effective immediately.
Morgan, who was named the League's Vice President of Finance & Operations in October of 2019, started with the USHL as a staff accountant prior to the 2016-17 season and was promoted to Director of Finance and Accounting in November of 2017.
"No differently than the exceptional talent we have on the ice, the USHL is fortunate to have a highly- talented staff, which is why I am excited to announce the promotion of Stephanie Morgan to Executive Vice President," said Glenn Hefferan, USHL President & Commissioner. "Stephanie has played a vital role in many areas of the USHL's operation over the last eight seasons. Her leadership, skills and collaboration have established the foundation that supports our teams, coaches, players, and officials, making the USHL the most successful Junior League in the world. I couldn't be more excited to have Stephanie in the second chair as the league moves into a new era of growth and innovation."
In her role with the USHL, Morgan oversees all accounting and financial aspects of the USHL including preparing, analyzing, and presenting league financials to the Executive Committee, and quarterly to the Board of Directors. In addition to producing the USHL games schedule, she also works alongside the Budget Committee with forming the annual league budget. Morgan's other responsibilities include on-ice officials financial administration and business operations with league sponsors and licensees.
Previously, Morgan spent more than three years as a Finance Specialist at a private bank and began her sports career as a staff intern with the Windy City Thunderbolts (Frontier League).
Morgan earned a master's degree in accounting from DePaul University after graduating with a bachelor's degree in finance from Eastern Illinois University.
