Stefan St. Louis Named to MASL Team of the Week

St. Charles, MO - St. Louis Ambush forward Stefan St. Louis has been named to the Major Arena Soccer League's Team of the Week for Week Seven of the 2016-17 season. St. Louis scored two goals and an assist as the Ambush defeated the Florida Tropics Friday, December 9. Although the Tropics built a 3-0 lead early in the first quarter, Stefan never gave up, scoring the first goal of the game, and then putting the final nail in the coffin in the fourth quarter.
The 2016-17 season marks Stefan's sixth in professional indoor soccer and his second stint with the Ambush. He has also played with the Detroit Waza Flo (PASL), Missouri Comets (MISL and MASL) and Milwaukee Wave (MASL). In his previous season with the Ambush (2014-15), Stefan tallied six goals and six assists in nine games played. Thus far this season, St. Louis has posted four goals and two assists in six games played and he leads the team in points.
The Ambush are back in action this weekend when they host the Cedar Rapids Rampage in a matinee affair Sunday, December 18 at 3:05 p.m. at the Family Arena.
