Barnes Is Playing Quite Noble:

Scott Barnes has picked up the offensive play lately scoring two goals in Friday's loss in Lubbock and having several quality scoring chances in the team's defeat at the hands of Oklahoma City on Sunday. In his last eight games, Barnes has scored four goals and added a pair of assists earning six of his season's seven points over that stretch (just one goal in the first five games). Barnes finished the game on Sunday playing on the top line with Chris Richards and Jeff Christian.

Offense Has Become Offensive:

The SteelHounds have found putting the puck in the net very difficult as of late. Over the team's four-game losing skid, the Hounds have managed just six goals (1.5/game) compared to 14 goals over their previous four games (3.5/game). The team has been held to one goal twice and two goals once over their last four games with Jeff Christian and Scott Barnes each scoring two goals and Kris Mallette and Darryl Lloyd each scoring once.

Christian Ends Slump With Two-Goal Game Versus OKC:

SteelHound forward Jeff Christian continues to pace the way for the team with 14 goals. After a six-game goal scoring stretch from Oct. 29-Nov. 12 that saw him total 12 goals, the winger was held without a goal for three straight games. On Sunday, Christian scored both Youngstown goals in a 4-2 loss at Oklahoma City. For the season, Christian has 14 goals and eight assists ranking him in the league's top three in scoring and number two in goals.

Youngstown Harley Davidson Bike Night:

The SteelHounds will be wearing special Youngstown Harley Davidson Jerseys on Friday night when they host the Corpus Christi Rayz. It will be Youngstown Harley Davidson Bike Night at the Chevrolet Centre. Game time for the contest is set for 7:05 PM and following the game, the special Harley Davidson Jerseys will be auctioned off with proceeds going to charity.

One Timers:

The Hounds have killed 43 of their last 47 shorthanded chances (.915)

After being among the league leaders in penalty minutes during the first 10 games of the season, Youngstown has been gated for just 70 minutes over their last four games (17.5 min/game)

Youngstown is 3-1-1 in one-goal games this season.
