Steelheads ink Jarrod Gee

Gary Steelheads News Release
GARY, Ind. (February 13, 2004) â The Steelheads today signed 6-foot-7 forward Jarrod Gee.
Gee averaged 12.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game with the Steelheads in 2001-02. He recently played with the Charleston Lowgators of the National Basketball Development League. He has extensive overseas experience and gives the Steelheads another solid front line player.
The Chicago native played at the University of Illinois and was a big part of the Fighting Illini's 1997-98 Big Ten championship team. He was Illinois Class A Mr. Basketball as a senior at St. Martin dePorres High School in Chicago.
The Steelheads also waived guard Justus Thigpen.
