GARY, Ind. (February 14, 2004) â Shelly Clark and Jemeil Rich each had a double-double, but the Steelheads fell to the Rockford Lightning 93-86 on Friday night
The Lightning (19-19) earned 6.5 quarter points. The Steelheads are 19-18.
Clark recorded 12th double-double with a team-high 20 points and 13 rebounds. Rich recorded his 13th double-double with 18 points and 10 assists.
Rockford's Ronnie Fields led all scorers with 30 points.
The Lightning won the first quarter, 29-26 and edged Gary in second quarter, 20-19, to take a 49-45 halftime lead. The two tied the third quarter, 21-21 with the Lightning taking the final quarter, 23-20.
The Steelheads host Sioux Falls on Saturday. All groups of 20 or more may purchase upper level seats for $2 each or lower level seats for $5 each.
