
Steelheads have eight February home games

GARY, Ind. (January 29, 2004) â Getting hooked on Steelheads in February will never be more convenient as the Steelheads play eight home games during the month.
Seven of the games are on Friday or Saturday nights. All games begin at 7:05 p.m. at the Genesis Convention Center.
The Steelheads, who recently moved into third place, return from a four-game road trip on Friday, February 6 when they host the league-leading Dakota Wizards.
They have three home games the following week as they host the Great Lakes Storm on Wednesday, February 11. They will play the Rockford Lightning on Friday, February 13 and the Sioux Falls Skyforce for a Valentine's Day game on February 14. All groups of 20 or more may purchase upper level seats at $2 each or lower level seats at $5 each for the February 14 game. The game will be televised live on Chicagoland's Television (CLTV). Both nights are "School Supplies Drive" nights. Fans are asked to bring school supplies for donation to children at area schools.
The Steelheads host the Yakima Sun Kings for a two-game series on Friday-Saturday, February 20-21. February 20 is the Strack & Van Til Baby Race. February 21 is a CLTV game and is also NIPSCO Night. Fans that say "NIPSCO" at the door may purchase an upper level seat for just $1.
The Steelheads play the Storm on February 27 and the Lightning on February 28. Both nights are "Food Donation" Nights in partnership with America's Second Harvest of Northwest Indiana.
