Steelheads end 2004 on a sour note

Gary, IN: The Gary Steelheads ended the year of 2004 with a lost tonight against the Michigan Mayhem by the score of 93-88. The Steelheads managed to capture 2 ½ quarter points in the loss.

The Steelheads were led by Jimmie "Snap" Hunter who had 24 points. Daniel Watts and Darrin Hancock each had 13 points. Shelly Clark chipped in with 9 points and 11 rebounds for the Steelheads. Former NBA veteran Darrick Martin has the Mayhem's leading scorer with 19 points. Charles Gaines had 18 points and Sam Mack had 14 points.

The Steelheads travel to Rockford to take on the Lightning tomorrow, before returning to the Genesis Convention Center to take on the same Mayhem on Monday, January 3rd. Game time is 7:05 PM.
