Idaho Steelheads News Release

Boise, ID (10/31/13) - Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced Thursday that the Idaho Steelheads have added goaltender Garrett Bartus to the roster.

Bartus, 24, made his professional debut last spring during the ECHL Kelly Cup playoffs for the Greenville Road Warriors. He appeared in one game, stopping every shot he faced in relief for the Road Warriors in a loss to Reading. Prior to that, the St. Charles, IL, product was the all-time leader in saves and wins at the University of Connecticut (NCAA), twice earning team MVP honors.

Bartus is expected to be in uniform Friday night when the Idaho Steelheads host the Ontario Reign at 7:10 PM at CenturyLink Arena in Boise. Tickets are available by calling 208-331-8497.

Group outings at a Steelheads game are a great way to gather friends, colleagues, or co-workers for a fun night out in downtown Boise. Ticket prices are discounted and you can get a Pepsi, Double-R Ranch Hot Dog, and bag of Tim's Cascade Chips with each ticket. Contact the Steelheads front office at 208.383.0080 or log on to www.idahosteelheads.com for more information.
