Trenton Steel News Release

TRENTON, N.J. - Greater Fayetteville, N.C., and Cumberland County sustained severe damage in the recent storms that produced tornadoes in the Cape Fear Area.

Reports from that area mention the need for several necessities, and even the cleanup of tornado debris could exceed $1 million by itself. Much of the population of the area is involved in debris cleanup.

The Steel, which has ties to the Fayetteville area though its sister Southern Indoor Football League team the Fayetteville Force, is aiming to aid the Cape Fear Area with a food drive, which begins today and will last through the team's visit to Fayetteville for the teams' game April 29.

Any fan who brings non-perishable food items to the Steel office at 439 South Broad Street in Trenton will receive two upper-level tickets for the Steel's next home game May 7 vs. Harrisburg.

All donated items will be shipped to Fayetteville in time for the Steel's visit to the North Carolina city.
