Stealth's Moleski Announces Retirement

Vancouver, BC- The Vancouver Stealth announced today that Jeff Moleski is retiring from the National Lacrosse League.
Moleski has played twelve years in the league and five seasons with the Stealth organization. In 194 playoff and regular season games the defenseman scored 46 goals and 85 assists for 131 points with 1025 looseballs.
"I've had a great and long career and have been very fortunate to have won championships and played for some of the greatest coaches of all time. For me it all comes down to lifelong friends and memories that I've been graciously blessed with," said Moleksi. "I will cherish the fact that I had the ability to compete at the highest level with those friends. But I am truly thankful for my wife and kids who had to endure me being away so I could compete for something that I loved almost as much as them."
Moleski leaves behind a legacy of hard work, determination and a history of winning. In 2009 he helped the Calgary Roughnecks capture the NLL Champion's Cup. In 2011, he added to his resume by attending the 2011 World Indoor Lacrosse Championships where he helped Canada win gold.
"Jeff leaves the National Lacrosse League having set the standard for sportsmanship, leadership, commitment and dedication. A role model and shining example of all that our sport should be, he will be missed not only by the Stealth organization but by the league as a whole," said Stealth President and General Manager Doug Locker. "It was an honor to have had the pleasure of seeing him compete and we wish him the best in the years ahead!"
