
Stealth win 86 to 85 in Chicago

Houston Stealth News Release
The Houston Stealth concluded a three game in four nights road trip with a thrilling 86 to 85 victory over the red hot Chicago Blaze. Chicago entered the game with a NWBL-record seven game winning streak.
Houston (5-8) led 51 to 36 at halftime thanks to 50% (20 for 40 from the field). The Stealth's defense limited Chicago to 33% (11 for 33 from the field) in the opening period.
Sheryl Swoopes and Tamicha Jackson each scored 24 points for Houston while forward Octavia Blue scored 11 and center Michelle Snow added 10 points.
Chicago's Mfon Udoka led all scorers with 28 points. She also was the game's leading rebounder with 14 boards. Chicago (8-6) outrebounded Houston 37 to 30.
The Stealth's next game is Monday, March 17, at Autry Court versus the Grand Rapids Blizzard. Monday's game will be the second meeting between the two teams in 3 days. Houston defeated the Blizzard 89 to 83 on Saturday, March 15.
Monday's game will mark the debut of Tina Thompson in a Stealth uniform. Game time is 8pm.
