Wichita, Kan. - The Wichita Stealth announced today that they will be holding their player tryouts on December 15, 2002 at the Kansas Coliseum (1229 E. 85th Street North, Valley Center, KS). Registration begins at 11 a.m. with the tryout beginning at Noon.
The tryout will consist of two sessions. In the first session, prospective players will be tested in the following areas: 225 lb. bench press, vertical jump, 40-yard dash, and shuttle run. The second session will be an invitation only session. Players will be invited back by the Wichita Stealth coaching staff and will be asked to run position specific drills.
Registration forms are available on www.wichitastealth.com or you can contact the Stealth office at 316.755.3307 for more information. Registration fee is $45 in advance and $50 the day of the tryout. Cashier and personal checks will be accepted through the mail (up to three days before the tryout), but only cash and cashiers checks will be accepted at registration on the day of the tryout. The Stealth coaching staff is limiting the tryout to the first 200 players who register.
