Stealth Ready to Return the Favour to Mammoth

Vancouver, BC (Friday, January 30, 2015) - The Vancouver Stealth (1-3) will look for a different outcome when they play the back-end of a home and home against the Colorado Mammoth (3-0) at 7:00PM at the Langley Events Centre on Saturday night.
Vancouver, searching for their first home win of the season, will look to do what they did in the first quarter of last weekend's game against the Mammoth, jumping out to a 3-1 lead. Corey Small made his Stealth debut and didn't miss a beat, scoring 4 points (2g, 2a) in Colorado.
"The first quarter we were playing well," said Head Coach Dan Perreault. "Even starting the second quarter, it was a 4-4 game then we turned the ball over and those turnovers turned into goals."
The Stealth received some good news earlier in the week when defenseman Chris O'Dougherty was put back on the active roster and will play Saturday after missing the last three games due to a lower body injury.
"We have to play more aggressive, dictate more of the game," he said. "We need to control the pace of play and just give them less opportunity. Hopefully I can be a spark coming back off the IR."
Offense doesn't seem to be a concern for the team as they lead the league with 11 power play goals and their 51 goals ranks 3rd in the NLL, however, they have been hit with the injury bug on the back-end as they're still without Rory Smith and Tyler Garrison, who remain on the Injured Reserve list.
"Overall I'm certainly not going to pin it on our goalies," said Perreault. "Last game you look at some of the looks they (Colorado) had, they were just looks right on the crease. We've got to tighten up our defense."
Vancouver will welcome a Mammoth team, that after four weeks, is the only undefeated team in the league and have scored a league-high 57 goals.
"Last week's game was our most complete game of the year," said Colorado Coach Chris Gill. "There's still some sloppy play that we can clean up. I know Vancouver is going to be a lot different this week. I'm positive that we're going to see a different team and a different game so we're looking forward to it."
John Grant Jr continues to impress at age 40, as the Mammoth forward has 22 points (9g, 13a) in 3 games this season.
"We had a pretty good game in Colorado but we've got a team on the other side that's obviously going to be coming at us so we're going to have our hands full and all we're focused on the game at the LEC," said Grant Jr.
"Overall, our compete level has to be better," said Perreault. "I feel good about it. We're going to be better this week."

Doors will open at 5:30PM and the Pre-Game Party begins at the FoxHole.
