
Stealth Playoff Game Set for Friday

Wichita, Kan. - The Wichita Stealth will travel to take on the third seeded and National Conference West Division champions, the Hawaiian Islanders on Friday, August 1st at 7:30 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time (12:30 a.m. Central Time). The Stealth finished the regular season with an 8-7-1 record and are seeded sixth in the National Conference, while the Islanders finished the regular season with a 10-6 record. The Islanders are coming off a loss to the Bakersfield Blitz on Sunday night.
This is the second consecutive appearance in the post-season for the Stealth and Hawaii's first playoff appearance. The Stealth and Islanders split the regular season series (1-1). The Stealth won in Wichita on May 3rd, 36-29, while the Islanders won the game on May 16th in Hawaii by the score of 61-55.
If the Stealth wins the game versus Hawaii, they would travel to face the top seeded Quad City Steamwheelers (14-2) on the weekend of August 8th â 10th.
