Stealth Hold Blood Drive

Wichita, Kan. - The Wichita Stealth and the American Red Cross are teaming up to hold a blood drive during the month of May. From May 1st to May 31st, Stealth fans are encouraged to donate blood at the American Red Cross Donation Center (707 N. Main). The blood center is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., and Sunday, May 4th from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

The Stealth have been challenged in this drive for blood by the Tulsa Talons of arenafootball2. At the conclusion of the drive, the team that collects the most pints of blood will be awarded a trophy.

"We are very excited about this challenge," said Stealth Director of Media Relations, Deuane Howard. "This gives us a chance to help the Red Cross and at the same time challenge the Tulsa Talons in a friendly competition that benefits us all."

Stealth fans can call 316.268.0835 to schedule an appointment to donate blood. When you go to donate blood, please be sure to write down that you are donating for the Stealth challenge.
