Stealth End Regular Season Friday With Fan Appreciation Night

(San Jose, CA, April 11, 2007) --- The San Jose Stealth will host Fan Appreciation Night on Friday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m. as they conclude their regular season schedule against Jim Moss and the Colorado Mammoth at HP Pavilion. Stealth fans will have the chance to win numerous prizes including an HP R817 Digital Camera and HP Photosmart Printer, a PSP (PlayStation Portable), and the Russell's Furniture Stealth Family of the Game Couch.
Fan Appreciation Night will begin with the Season Ticket Holder BBQ at the Britannia Arms from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. While enjoying a pre-game buffet and drink specials alongside the Spy Girls and Stealth General Manager Johnny Mouradian, Season Ticket Holders will have the exclusive opportunity to win one of the two HP digital cameras and printers available that evening.
When the doors open at HP Pavilion at 6 p.m., the first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a Spy Girls Team Photo, and the first 5,000 will receive a Stealth Club One 20 oz. Water Bottle stuffed with a Club One Guest Pass and a $10 Sports Basement coupon. Once inside, fans can enter to win over fifty prizes, including replica Stealth jerseys and gift certificates to local San Jose restaurants that will be awarded throughout the night. With the conclusion of the game, the Stealth players and Spy Girls will be available for autographs at the North Concourse.
This is the first time the Stealth have faced off against their old team mate Jim "the Axe" Moss since the blockbuster trade on Feb 7 that sent Moss to Colorado for Andrew Burkholder and a 2007 First Round Draft Pick. Previous to the trade, San Jose had started the season 1-5, but since adding Burkholder to the line-up, the Stealth have enjoyed a 7-1 run. Burkholder has totaled seven points (5G, 2A) in seven games for the Stealth this season, including two fourth quarter goals in the come-from-behind victory against Edmonton during San Jose's five game winning streak.
The San Jose Stealth are happy to welcome 400 students from the City Year Spring Camp 2007 to Fan Appreciation Night on Friday. After Stealth Players Joe Vasold, Kyle Sorensen, Tim Booth and Steve Holmes volunteered alongside Spy Girls Donna and Krissy at the City Camp on Monday, the team was able to work with Club One to donate 400 tickets so the organization could bring it's campers to Friday's game.
