Portland Thunder News Release
PORTLAND - The Arena Football League has cancelled the Week 18 match-up between the New Orleans VooDoo and the Las Vegas Outlaws originally scheduled for July 25, 2015 at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, an AFL publication stated Thursday evening.
All other remaining games on both the New Orleans VooDoo schedule, and the Las Vegas Outlaws schedule will be played.
"We want our fans to know that our game on August 1st against Las Vegas will be played," Thunder owner Terry Emmert said Friday morning. "That evening is very important to the Thunder, as it marks the end of a successful home schedule, and is highlighted by our Fan Appreciation Night festivities."
The game will be played, as scheduled, on August 1, with kickoff slated for 7:00PM from the Moda Center.
The missed game for the VooDoo and Outlaws will be listed as a tie.
