Start time of Sunday's Slam game changed to 12:30 pm
February 1, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Bellingham Slam News Release
Bellingham, WA - The Bellingham Slam have announced that they have moved the start time of Sunday's American Basketball Association contest against the Tijuana Dragons from 5:00 pm to 12:30 pm, to avoid a conflict with this year's Super Bowl featuring the Seattle Seahawks.
The game on Sunday will be the second game of a two-game series against Tijuana. The Slam are looking to sweep the season series against the Dragons, having won twice in Tijuana on December 29 and 30. The first game of the home series takes place on Friday, February 3 at 7 pm and will feature NBA legend Dennis Rodman suiting up and playing for Tijuana. Less than 200 general admission tickets remain for Friday's game.
Fans can purchase tickets to both games on the Slam's website at www.bellinghamslam.com or at the Slam's offices located at 1200 Lakeway Drive.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
