
Stars Waive Porsha Roberts and Toni Young

SAN ANTONIO (June 2, 2015) - The San Antonio Stars have waived center Porsha Roberts and forward Toni Young, Head Coach and General Manager Dan Hughes announced today.
Roberts spent four years at Stephen F. Austin University before joining the Stars for training camp in May. Young was originally selected seventh overall by the New York Liberty in the 2013 WNBA Draft. In 39 career WNBA games, Young has averaged 3.5 points and 1.6 rebounds in 9.8 minutes. She signed a training camp contract with the Stars in March.
The Stars tip off the 2015 season, presented by CHRISTUS Santa Rosa and H-E-B, in Phoenix against the defending champion Phoenix Mercury on June 5 at 9 p.m. The Stars 2015 home opener takes place on June 14 at the Freeman Coliseum against the Tulsa Shock.
