Stars Sign Vicki Baugh and Haley Peters to Training Camp Contracts

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Stars today announced that they have signed Vicki Baugh and Haley Peters to training camp contracts.

Baugh (F-C, 6-4, Tennessee) averaged 4.0 points and 3.7 rebounds in 11 games with the Stars last season. She signed a seven-day contract with San Antonio on July 18 and signed for the remainder of the season on Aug. 27. Baugh is currently averaging 9.2 points and 6.0 rebounds with Good Angels Kosice in the Slovakian League and 10.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in EuroCup play. Baugh was s elected by the Tulsa Shock in the third round (25th overall) of the 2012 WNBA Draft and played for the Shock for two seasons.

Peters (F, 6-2, Duke) averaged 5.8 points and 2.3 rebounds in 34 games with the Stars last season. She is averaging 14.8 points and 5.0 rebounds with Spar Citylift Girona in the Spanish League and 13.1 points and 5.3 rebounds in EuroCup action. Prior to playing for the Stars, Peters played two seasons in Spain.

The Stars will tip off the 2017 season, presented by H-E-B, on the road with back-to-back games May 13 at New York and May 14 at Washington before their home opener vs. Phoenix on May 19 at 7 p.m. CT at the AT&T Center.
