The Traverse City North Stars blew a 3-1 lead in the third period on Saturday, falling to the Mahoning Valley Phantoms by a 5-3 margin in the second game of a three-game series at Centre ICE arena. The Stars permitted four unrequited third-period markers, including an empty- netter in the final minute. TC falls to 17-7-5 and four points behind the Phantoms in the NAHL North Division. The teams wrap up their series on Sunday at 12:35 p.m.
