Stars announce Dance Team Director

Angie Bake was hired on 12/17/05 as Director of the Arkansas Stars' Cheer/Dance Team. "We are excited that Angie is part of the Arkansas Stars," Katona Hargrave said. Angie is presently the Director of Cheerleading Operations for the All Star Sports Arena, at Cheer Unlimited. She is the former head cheerleading coach at Thomas Edison High School in Tulsa, OK. Angie led the Eagles to their first Nationals appearance in 11 years during her first year as their coach, and they have had repeat appearances since that time. Angie has 20 years of cheerleading experience, including her own experience as a cheerleader and has worked as a choreographer, coach and judge for numerous programs for 17 years. She is certified by the National Cheerleaders Association and the Universal Cheerleading Association. Angie has a heart for cheerleading and promotes safety and athleticism in her programs.

"My gym fields 4 competitive cheer squads, as well as offers cheer and tumbling classes. We teach jumps, cheer technique, tumbling skills and dance for cheerleading. We compete in 6 to 7 competitions per year." said Angie.
