
Star Wars Night & Jersey Auction this Weekend

Tampa, FL - The Tampa Yankees will host Star Wars Night on Saturday, August 8th at Steinbrenner Field as they play the Clearwater Threshers at 6:00 pm. The gates will open to all fans at 5:00 pm. The night is sponsored by Sam's Beach Bar.
Before the game kids will have the opportunity to run the bases from 5-5:15 pm, player autographs will be available on the concourse from 5:10-5:30 pm & there will be a face painter from 5-7:00 pm.
This is the first time the Tampa Yankees players and coaches will be wearing custom Star Wars themed jersey's. The game worn jersey's will be auctioned during the game in a silent auction with proceeds benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters. Winners will have the opportunity to meet the player who wore it after the game and get it autographed.
In addition to Star Wars Night, August 8th will be Friends & Family Night at the ballpark. Family 4 Packs will be available for a total of $38 and includ four reserved tickets, hot dogs, bags of chips, sodas, TY caps and two passes to Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo.
Tickets for Star Wars Night, as well as future Tampa Yankees games, can be purchased at the George M. Steinbrenner Field Box Office or through TicketMaster. Ticket prices start at $4 for General Admission and $6 for Reserved Seating.
