Quad City Mallards News Release

MOLINE, Ill. - The Stanley Cup comes to the iWireless Center when the Quad City Mallards meet the Indy Fuel Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. Saturday evening will also see the Mallards welcome fans back to hockey action after Christmas with a no-lose scratch card giveaway and a bad gift exchange.

The Stanley Cup will go on a mini-tour of the Quad Cities area Saturday culminating in the Mallards' game against the Fuel. The cup will appear at R.I.A. Federal Credit Union and Harris Pizza in Bettendorf before arriving at the iWireless Center for the Mallards' game and finishing the evening at Bad Boyz' Pizza & Pub in Moline. Fans attending Saturday night's game will have their chance get up close and take photos with the cup on the main concourse beginning when iWireless Center doors open at 5:45 p.m. for season ticket holders and at 6:00 p.m. for the general public. Photos with the cup will be available throughout the game.

In addition, the first 1,500 fans through the doors Saturday are sure to have their holiday spirits lifted when they receive no-lose scratch cards, each and every one of which will reveal the recipient to be a prize winner.

Fans attending Saturday's game will also have the opportunity to take part in a bad gift exchange. Fans who bring their worst still-packaged Christmas gift to that game can exchange those deeply disappointing presents for another fan's misfit gift or a voucher good for a ticket to a future game or a Mallards souvenir.

Single game tickets for all Mallards regular season home games- including Saturday night's game- are on sale now at the iWireless Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000. The box office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available for $10, $16, $20 and $28.
