Sioux Falls Stampede News Release
Stampede travel to Omaha this Friday
The Sioux Falls Stampede (10-6-1) travel to Omaha (8-6-2) this Friday night to face the Lancers at 7:05 PM. The Herd are 2-0-0 against Omaha this season, posting 2-1 and 3-1 victories.
It is the only game of the weekend for Sioux Falls who will return home on December 8th to face Sioux City. The Stampede have six games remaining until the holiday break and currently reside in second place in the Western Conference with 21 points.
Stampede Viewing Party this Friday!
Fans can catch this Friday's game at Buffalo Wild Wings in Sioux Falls! It's the second of four America One viewing parties at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Fans can catch the game "live" on all the TV big screens starting at 7 PM. Be sure to get there early as no reservations are taken. Fans can also register during the game for a chance to win special Stampede prizes!
Help the Food Pantry on December 8th
The Stampede are teaming up with the Sioux Falls Arena to help the local Food Pantry in Sioux Falls on Wednesday, December 8.
The Stampede are asking fans bring in canned food items to the arena to help the food pantry. Fans who bring in canned items will receive $3-off the best available seat for the game against the Musketeers! Fans can bring in donations and purchase tickets in advance at the arena box office or just prior to the game. Please help those less fortunate this holiday season.
Applebee's/Stampede Bus Trip December 11
Applebee's in Sioux Falls is offering Stampede fans an opportunity to take a fan bus to see the Herd face the Sioux City Musketeers in Sioux City on December 11th. For just $17, fans will receive bus transportation to and from the game and a game ticket.
The bus will depart at 5 PM from the Applebee's Empire East location and will return immediately following the game. There needs to be a minimum of 47 people signed up in order for the trip to take place. Please note that this is a NO smoking and NO drinking bus.

Holiday Family Feast December 14
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, December 14th for the Stampede "Holiday Family Feast" at Pizza Ranch on West 41st Street and in Tea from 5:30-8 PM.
Fans are encouraged to bring in new unwrapped gifts to the event. All unwrapped gifts will be donated to the "Toys for Tots" program.
In addition, fans who donate a gift will receive a special discount off their dinner bill that night. Stampede players will be on hand, waiting on tables and signing autographs throughout the night!
Connolly/UMD featured on NHL.com
Former Stampede star Jack Connolly and the University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs were recently featured on NHL.com.
The Bulldogs are currently the #1 team in the country with an 11-1-2 record. Connolly is tied for the team lead in points with 20 (5g, 15a) in 14 games.
The Bulldogs return to action this weekend when they host the Denver in the final series at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center (DECC). The Bulldogs move into their new home, the AMSOIL Arena on December 30th.
