Stampede Unveil Playhouses Monday at Empire Mall

The Stampede Hockey Club are proud to announce that we are set to "unveil" the fourth Playhouse Promenade community project!

Please join us MONDAY, FEB. 2ND - 11:30 AM at The Empire Mall, where we will host a "Sneak Preview Party" just outside the JC Penney's Store.

Also on hand will be Sioux Falls Mayor Dave Munson, Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, Diplomats and friends of the Stampede. The Sioux Falls Chamber will help us "Face-Off" this year's event with a special Ribbon Cutting!

PLAYHOUSE BROCHURES NOW AVAILABLE: Thanks to the creative talents of Henkin Schultz and the press crew at Sioux Printing, we have a very colorful and first class project brochure.

PLAYHOUSES LOOKING FOR A HOME OWNER: This year's playhouses will feature the following homes:

> OLD DUTCH PLAYHOUSE built by MEEHAN CONSTRUCTION and DEFFENBAUGH HOMES.

> LIGHTHOUSE PLAYHOUSE built by Dakotaland Builders and Zelmer Construction.

> GINGERBREAD PLAYHOUSE built by Harr and Lemme Custom Homes

> LOG CABIN PLAYHOUSE built by Mike Metzger Construction and Paul Nelsen Construction.

On behalf of the project home builders, we thank the folks at Parker, Transfer & Storage and Jerke Construction, who will team together to bring in the playhouses to The Empire Mall.

PLAYHOUSES UP FOR BID! Each of the Playhouses named above will be available for sale through a special "Silent Bid" process. Bid Sheets will be available at each Playhouse home inside The Empire Mall. Bid sheets can also be secured through e-mail via playhousebid@sfstampede.com Bids will be accepted up to 6:00 PM Central, Monday, March 1st.

RAFFLE SALES: The Playhouse Promenade will feature two separate raffle prizes that have been supplied to the project by AAA Travel Agency.

The prizes include:

** TWO (2) ROUND-TRIP AIRLINE TICKETS anywhere in the Continental USA (certain restrictions and black-out dates apply)

** TWO (2) STAMPEDE HOCKEY SEASON TICKETS (2004/05 year)., Value: $600

>>> Raffle Tickets are available at $1 per chance and 6 chances for $5. Tickets can be bought through our project charities - Ronald McDonald House of Sioux Falls, Special Olympics South Dakota, Home Builders Association of the Soux Empire "Scholarship Fund" and the Stampede Hockey office ("Foundation For Kids"). The Empire Mall's "Customer Service" desk area will also have tickets available for purchase.

MIDCONTINENT RADIO REMOTES AT THE MALL: The Stampede would like to salute Mike Costanzo and his stations -- KELO-FM, KRRO-FM and KTWB-FM for providing "Live" radio remotes from The Empire Mall to help promote the Playhouse Promenade.

CHARITY SUPPORT! The Playhouse Promenade has distributed just over $75,000 cash dollars to area charities during the project's first three campaigns! We look forward to working with each of our new charities -- Ronald McDonald House of Sioux Falls and Special Olympics South Dakota as well as the HBA and their wonderful "Scholarship Fund" that helps provide for area high school students seeking to advance their study of home building in college.
