
Stampede top the Manchester Millrats 114-111

The Buffalo Stampede defeated the Manchester Millrats 114-111 with an incredible finish. Andy Robinson hit a 3 point shot at the buzzer to give the Stampede their first home win of the season. Robinson finished with 19 points and 5 assists for the game.
The Stampede were down 9 points at the half, but with a 35 point third quarter, cut the Millrats lead to 1 going into the fourth quarter. Kevin Ross had an outstanding game, with 21 points and 13 rebounds. In addition to Robinson and Ross, four other Stampede players were in double figures. Mark Price had 22 points, Corey Herring had 13, Damone Brown had 13 and a game high 14 rebounds. Aaron Harrison had 10 points and 7 rebounds.
The Millrats were led by point guard Anthony Anderson, who had a game high 31 points and 8 assists in close to 40 minutes of action. PJ Young added 20 points for the Milrats.
At the buzzer, the Koessler Center went wild with deafening cheers from the Stampede fans. With the win, the Stampede improved their record to 2-5. The next 2 games for the Stampede are on the road against Quebec and Halifax. The next home game will be Saturday, February 13th at 7:30 PM as the Buffalo Stampede welcomes Vermont to the Koessler Center.
