Stampede to Celebrate Community in Next Home Game

HARRISBURG, PA (May 14, 2014) - The Harrisburg Stampede will return home to PinnacleHealth Field at Giant Center on Saturday, May 17 th at 7pm. This will be their first home game since a grueling stretch of road trips began on April 18 th . On the 17 th, the Herd will take on the Georgia Fire in a contest, which is being dubbed Community Night - Work Together Win Together.

The Herd will be living up to it's mission of making a positive social impact in the community by hosting several non-profit groups from around the Central PA region. These groups are utilizing the high-energy, family friendly atmosphere to not only fundraise for their organizations, but also treat their staff and families to a night of excellent entertainment! Tickets may be purchased at a discounted rate of $12.85 and $5 of each ticket sold will benefit the respective organization.

In addition to these non-profit organizations, the Herd teamed up with Captain Morgan's Cancer Crusaders Relay For Life Team to create a special ticket package, which includes a t-shirt!

Not only will the Stampede celebrate the aforementioned community organizations, the Herd is proud to announce the First Annual Teddy Bear Toss and to also recognize Armed Forces Day!

National Foster Care Month:

The Stampede will recognize the hard working staff and foster parents from Dauphin County Children & Youth Services for all of their support to the children in our community!

Teddy Bear Toss:

Fans are encouraged to bring their Teddy Bears to benefit several youth programs! The bears will be tossed onto the field after the first Stampede Touchdown!

Armed Forces Day 2014:

All active duty personnel will receive a complimentary ticket with their Military ID. This offer is available at the Giant Center Box Office.

In Game Promotions and Activities:

*First 2,000 fans receive a FREE rally towel, courtesy of Member's 1 st Federal Credit Union

*Teddy Bear Toss - bring your teddy bears and shower the field after the Herd's first touchdown!

*Win a Free Mustang football challenge courtesy of Maguire's Ford

The game will wrap up with a postgame autograph session in the concourse, featuring two Stampede players and two members of the Crush dance team.

When turning off Hersheypark Drive onto Park Blvd., be in the far right lane and turn right immediately after the pedestrian bridge. Media will park in the Press Lot on the right hand side. All media will need to sign in at the desk to receive a press pass.
