
Stampede to "Blue Out" the PREMIER Center this Friday

Sioux Falls, SD-The Sioux Falls Stampede will "Blue Out" the Premier Center this Friday when they host Muskegon in Game 3 of the Clark Cup Final. The Stampede lead the best-of-five series 2-0 and have a chance to win the Clark Cup on home ice on Friday. Fans are encouraged to wear blue to the game to show their support for the Stampede. Sioux Falls mayor Mike Huether will be on hand to drop the ceremonial first puck. In addition, ALL fans sitting the lower bowl will receive a FREE Stampede blue Clark Cup Final T-Shirt, compliments of Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital. Tickets are available through the KELOLAND Box Office inside the PREMIER Center, any Ticketmaster outlet or by contacting the Stampede office at 336-6060.
"We want to invite all of Stampede Country out this Friday for the most exciting game of the year," said Stampede CEO/President Tom Garrity. "We need our amazing fans to give us the ultimate home ice advantage with the Clark Cup on the line. We are asking everyone to show their support by wearing blue and to Bleed Stampede at the game!"
Fans are invited to a pre-game tailgate party prior to the start of each home game just outside the Birdcage, across from the PREMIER Center. The fun will begin at 4 PM on Friday with a Canaries free spring training game inside the Birdcage with tailgate party beginning at 5 PM.
Fans can purchase a hot dog and soda for just $3 while enjoying multiple bouncy houses, bean bags and ladder golf free of charge. Test your slap shot on goal in Stampede hockey zone, play giant Jinga and kids and adults can get their face painted free of charge! Mr. Twister will also be there for the kids handing out free balloon animals and for just $2, fans can spin a special prize wheel where they can win special Stampede and Canaries prizes! There will also be music from KELO-FM 101.9 during the party so come early and have fun with fellow members of Stampede Country. There will also be a tailgate party on Sunday at 4 PM should a Game 4 be necessary.
The Stampede has several fun activities planned during the week leading up to the game. The clubs is encouraging businesses to "Bleed Stampede" all week and show their support. Businesses are encouraged to dress in their favorite Stampede gear and post photos of their employees in the workplace showing their Stampede pride. They can post their photos on the Stampede Facebook or Twitter pages @sfstampede. One lucky business will be selected to win 33 tickets to sit in the Stampede's Section 122 loge suite!
The Stampede are also encouraging individual fans to show their pride this week by posting photos of themselves dressed in Stampede gear to Facebook and Twitter as well. The club will select one lucky winner to win two ice side seats to the game on Friday night!
Stampede staff members will be out in the community with Stomp this week visiting businesses handing out cheer signs to post in their windows encouraging everyone to "Bleed Stampede" leading up to Game 3 on Friday night. If the Stampede find you wearing Stampede gear this week while out in the community you could win tickets to the game! Fans who would like to post a cheer sign in their home or at work can stop by the Stampede office this week and pick one up as well. Stampede fans are asked to use the hashtag #StampedeCountry & #BlueOut when posting their photos.
