HARRISBURG, PA (May 30, 2014) - The Harrisburg Stampede will return home to PinnacleHealth Field at Giant Center next Friday, June 6th at 7pm to take on the Trenton Freedom. The team will look to rebound during the three game home stretch and close out their 2014 home season with a playoff berth.
The Stampede have three remaining home games at Giant Center to close out the 2014 season. These games will be the most exciting and engaging yet! Below is a brief overview of the game day themes and promotions:
Friday, June 6, 2014 - Kickoff at 7pm
Great Harrisburg Red OUT - The Harrisburg Stampede, American Heart Association and Harrisburg Senators have partnered to present the Great Harrisburg Red Out. All fans are encouraged to wear RED in support of AHA. The first 250 fans wearing RED will receive "Thunder Sticks", courtesy of AHA; first 1,000 fans will receive a commemorative Stampede Red OUT Rally Towel; the first 1,000 children will receive a free Healthy Habits Activity Book, courtesy of Capital Blue Cross. It's also PA Lottery and WINK 104 Night; all fans over 18 years of age will receive a complimentary lottery coupon and WINK 104 personalities will be on hand with prizes and give-aways. This game will be televised on abc27's RTV Channel. #hbgGORED
Saturday, June 14, 2014 - Kickoff at 4pm
Celebration of Red, White and Blue - The Stampede will celebrate our community heroes during our Celebration of Patriotism on June 14th. Fans will be treated to an American Flag ceremony pregame and Sutliff Chevrolet will give the first 1,000 fans a complimentary American Flag. It's also 105.7 the X night with the Stampede and the radio station will provide music and give-aways pre game and Nipsey of the People's Morning Show will participate in a halftime contest with one lucky fan to win an exclusive Stampede prize pack!
The 57th Annual Big 33 will kickoff at 7pm at Hershey Stadium and Stampede President/GM Marques Colston has been selected as the honorary chair. In celebration of the new partnership, the Herd and Big 33 are proud to offer an "All Day Football Combo" ticket for only $20; fans can purchase tickets to both the Stampede and Big 33 games and parking for the day. Saturday, June 21, 2014 - Kickoff at 7pm
Hunger Knows No Season - Food Drive to Benefit Central PA Food Bank - Join the Harrisburg Stampede, Capital Area Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association to Stuff the Truck! All fans will are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items to benefit the summer food programs of the Central PA Food Bank. It's also 97.3 The River Night, fans will be treated to music and give-aways pregame from the radio show. This game is the Stampede's 2014 home season finale and as such, it is also fan appreciation night. Season ticket holders and new die-hard Stampede fans will have the FIRST opportunity to reserve 2015 Season Tickets! The game will wrap up with a postgame autograph session on the field, featuring the entire Stampede team and Crush dance team.
