
Stampede Home Season Finale Tomorrow at Giant Center

HARRISBURG, PA (June 20, 2014) - The Harrisburg Stampede will face the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks tomorrow at 7pm at PinnacleHealth Field in Giant Center in hopes of closing out the 2014 season on a positive note. Although the Herd has been knocked out of playoff contention, the Stampede is ready to take on the Steelhawks in the 3rd installment of the "Keystone Classic". This is the third meeting of the teams and the Steelhawks are 2-0. The Herd will look to play "spoiler" as the Steelhawks need a win on Saturday in order to continue into the post season.
Tomorrow's game is the finale home game for the Stampede and is FAN APPRECIATION DAY! This home season finale is geared towards celebrating the best fans in indoor football - the Herd Fans. "This season has been a great step forward", says Stampede President and General Manager, Marques Colston. "On and off the field, we have seen significant growth and on behalf of the organization, I want to thank our fans for making our first season at Giant Center a memorable one."

This game's theme is "Hunger Knows No Season" and the Stampede has partnered with the Capital Area Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association, Success with Honor to hold a food drive to benefit the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. Pregame Festivities:
Autograph signing with Super Bowl Champion and Penn State Alumni Jordan Hill! All ticket-holding fans are invited to attend the FREE one-hour autograph signing. Doors for SEASON TICKET HOLDERS ONLY will open at 5:30pm, while doors for all other fans will open at 5:45pm. Fans are encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item in exchange for the free autograph. Live broadcast from the River 97.3 FM! Fans will have the chance to register to win prizes and more! The first 500 fans will receive an insulated lunch cooler, courtesy of Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency! The first 200 children will receive a complimentary Stampede goodie bag!
