San Angelo Stampede Express News Release
After a 3-week suspension the Stampede Express have decided to release Coach Johnny Anderson from his coaching duties. Anderson has been released due to his unprofessional behavior. Co-Owner Darlene Jones states, "I cannot condone the type of behavior that Anderson displayed during his employment with the Stampede Express." The Stampede Express will be naming Wali Mumin as acting head coach at this time.
The Stampede Express have begun their 4th season, with the next home game being June 2nd against the Katy RuffRiders at the San Angelo Coliseum. Tickets are available at the Stampede Express offices located at the San Angelo Convention Center or by calling 947-DOWN (3696) or 653-9577.
