Stampede Express announce schedule

San Angelo Stampede Express News Release


The Stampede Express is pleased to announce the much anticipated schedule for the 2007 season. The Intense Football League is now an 8-team league with 3 new expansion teams. The Stampede Express will play a 14 game schedule consisting of 7 home and 7 away games.

The team will kick off their season with two road games April 14th and the 21st in Central Texas and Odessa respectively. Stampede Express will host expansion team Frisco for their home opener April 28th at the San Angelo Coliseum at 7:05. The Stampede Express will then have a four-week stretch consisting of 3 road games and a bye week.

The stretch run will be exciting for the fans as 6 of the final 8 games of the season will be in San Angelo. The home stretch will begin June 2nd against the newly formed team from Katy. The following weekend June 9th the Stampede will face-off against the Louisiana Swashbucklers. June 23rd the Alaska Wild will pay a visit to San Angelo and the 30th of June Corpus Christi will come the Concho Valley. Stampede Express bitter arch rival, the Odessa Roughnecks will be in town July 14th. The team's home season will wrap up with a dual against the Centex Barracudas on July 21st.

The Stampede Express will begin their 4th season in the April 29th 2007 against Frisco, with 7 action packed games at the San Angelo Coliseum. Season tickets are currently available by calling 947-DOWN (3696) or 653-9577. Box seats are available for $100 each until December 24th.
